what was the total cost of making the trifle? Oh well, I don't even have trifle bowl.

I don't have a trifle bowl either. I just put it in the largest glass bowl I had. Cost, I think maybe $8. Kind a pricey.

ummm. Sweet potato fries-baked in the oven right? The trifle is pricey right now because the strawberries and blues aren't in season. I have also used canned cherry pie filling and choc. shavings on top. Karen has a banana split one that is way not healthy, but very good. Karen said to buy Jessica Seinfeld's kids cook book about hiding good food in yummy things. WE were in hysterics over putting smashed black beans in brownies. I nixed the chopped spinach in the brownies and the blueberry/tomato sauce over the top.
Okay I ate all the same 8 things today plus broccoli. Does that count? Ordered my used book on Amazon. I also had green tea and two pieces of dark chocolate-just thought I would throw that in. Oh and I went for a walk in the sun-30minutes. Not bragging ha ha. Just keeping myself accountable on this here healthy blog.

The trifle was delicious as were the sweet potatoe fries. As always a good time at Kathy and Sarah's house.
