Hit The Mark!

Yea me ~ I entered that new "century" of weight.
Ok, so I tried the hummus recipe from "Biggest Loser" (the one I gave you Jan), it's yucky. I have to work on it. For now I'm going to buy store bought til I can perfect one of my own.

Funny of the day ~ went to the grocery store and forgot to buy ANY lettuce. One of the huge staples of any diet, eating well, nutritious program. ha ha Have to go back now.

Dear Centurychange,
I am not a big fan of lettuce. What should I do? I try but I can only eat it about 1x/week

Dear Trying in SC,
Never mind about the lettuce then. There are plenty of other things you can eat; especially where you live? Like any fresh greens? or brocolli or something else?

Girls, girls: Trader Joes has the best hummus. The white bean was great. Romaine lettuce is wonderful. So is mix baby greens. Trader Joes Raspberry gorganzola dressing is yummy and low cal. So is olive oil and italian seasoning so easy and yummy. I know I am a walking advertisement for Trader Joes. Costco sells big box of baby lettuce. We have some almost every night.

Congratulations, I am there also. Of course tonight we had pizza at Ruggeros so that probably made me go back up but I am not getting on the scale tomorrow. LOL.

i will try the Spring lettuce in a box with some lowfat Ceasar dressing, my health food store is SO far away, and no Trader Joes in the city of Columbia. Have any suggestions about what to munch on when I get up at 4am, please don't say celery :)

try some almonds, there are lots of benefits to having different nuts. Low fat Peanut butter on toast is a great source of protein and gets ya movin, add a banana with it. If you can't do all that at 4:30am drink water instead then see if you are really hungry. Then have a good breakfast in a couple of hours. Or as I would do, Not get up at 4:30 in the morning. LOL

FYI just found out the Trader Joe's greek yogurt I'm eating has 17 grams of fat. No wonder it is so good. I think I need to look for the lo-fat one. ha ha
Middle of night snack 1/2 banana and 1/2 mug warm milk.
